Access Project employees are highly encouraged to use the country club we have free access to on Fridays for what they call here, "sporting." Having never gone "sporting," I decided to head over there after work when I was in Kigali one Friday, to check out "gymtonic," an exercise class that a friend had been encouraging me to try all day. I thought, why not?
To get to the point, gymtonic ended up being an hour and a half of moving my body in a way that resembled dance, aerobics, kicking, ab exercises, and stretching…at the same time and in different combinations. It is the craziest, most hilarious exercise program that I’ve ever participated in. One minute, I’m kicking the air while jogging, and the next I’m doing some odd dance move. It’s a bit funny to start with, but becomes absolutely hilarious when you look around to see everyone taking it so seriously. I found myself laughing so hard at certain points that I couldn’t even get off the floor. Karen had the same problem. And Ahmed was definitely amused, I think both at everyone around him, and me and Karen. I mean, look at the big cheesy grin on this face in the photo below. Haha.

Your posts are absolutely hilarious, girl. I miht need to steal some things. AND how did u manage to get so many pictures up?!
